The use of fish oil in the ration significantly increases the levels of linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in egg yolk oil.
Feeding egg-laying hens with Omega-3 fatty acids three weeks before laying and throughout the laying season increases the vitality and hatchability of the embryo.
